Biography
Rear Admiral David Simpson (Ret.) is Professor of Practice in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech.
Prior to VT, he served as the Chief of the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau for the Federal Communications Commission. His research includes non-terrestrial communications; mobile, cloud, and cyber defense; the resiliency and cybersecurity of communications networks; and emergency communications.
