Biography
Jarek Nabrzyski is a researcher in the field of computer science and cyberinfrastructure, serving as the founding director of the Center for Research Computing (CRC) at the University of Notre Dame. He holds the position of Vice President for Research Fellow and is a concurrent professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the same institution.
His research interests are broad, focusing on the development of cyberinfrastructure for scientific applications and the use of distributed ledger technologies to enhance supply chain visibility, traceability, and the safety of artificial intelligence systems.
In addition to his leadership role at the CRC, Nabrzyski co-directs the Blockchain Research Lab, where he explores innovative applications of blockchain technology. He is known for his ability to build and manage effective teams, fostering collaborations between academia and industry to tackle complex scientific and industrial challenges. His work not only advances theoretical knowledge but also aims to provide practical solutions to real-world problems, particularly in the areas of supply chain management and AI safety.
